چکیده

Background Imbalanced nutritional supply and demand in the tumor microenvironment often leads to hypoxia. The subtle interaction between hypoxia immune cell behavior plays an important role occurrence development. However, functional relationship remains unclear. Therefore, we aimed investigate effect of on intestinal microenvironment. Method We extracted names hypoxia-related genes from Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) database screened them for those associated with colorectal cancer prognosis, final list including ALDOB , GPC1 ALDOC SLC2A3 . Using sum expression levels these four genes, provided by Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) Expression Omnibus (GEO) databases, coefficients, developed a risk score model. median value, divided patients two databases into high- low-risk groups. GSEA was used compare enrichment differences CIBERSORT computational method analyze infiltration. Finally, correlation five analyzed. Result prognosis groups differed significantly, higher survival rate group than high-risk group. found that different were enriched immune-related inflammatory pathways. identified activated M0 macrophages TCGA GEO CCL2/4/5 CSF1 contributed toward increased infiltration this type. observed positive candidate genes’ hypoxia, significant level each patient Conclusion Overall, our data suggest is cancer. This finding may improve immunotherapy
